Do I need to come without makeup?

Accepted Answer

Yes, ideally you should arrive completely free of eye makeup.Lashes must be thoroughly cleansed before application so the adhesive bonds correctly. If lashes need to be cleaned at the salon, it delays the appointment and reduces the quality of the result.

How long do lash extensions last?

Usually 3 weeks, depending on aftercare, your natural lash type, and the chosen technique.I recommend coming for an infill every 2–3 weeks to keep your lashes looking perfectly groomed.

Does lash application hurt?

No, the application is completely painless and relaxing. Many clients even fall asleep during the treatment. Your eyes remain closed throughout.

Can I have an allergic reaction?

In rare cases, yes – which is why I ask about any previous reactions before your first appointment.If you know you have sensitive eyes or a history of allergies, I recommend arranging a sensitivity test in advance.

What if I cannot make my appointment?

Please let me know as soon as possible – ideally at least 24 hours in advance. This allows me to offer the slot to another client. A late cancellation fee may apply.

Can I wash my lash extensions?

Yes – in fact, you must! Regular cleansing is essential for both the longevity of your lashes and the health of your eyes.Throughout the day, dirt, oil, sweat, and makeup residue accumulate on the lashes, which can lead to irritation or infection if not properly removed.I recommend using a specialist lash cleansing foam (available in the salon), which is gentle on both eyes and extensions.

Can I wear makeup with lash extensions?

Yes, for most clients everyday makeup and eyeshadow are fine, provided they are thoroughly and gently removed each evening – ideally with a specialist lash cleansing foam.I do not recommend mascara on lash extensions. Removing it can loosen the adhesive and shorten the lifespan of the lashes.Gel eyeliners applied with a brush are not suitable – they are difficult to remove and can significantly strain the bonds.If you do wear makeup, choose products that rinse off easily with water and maintain a gentle daily cleansing routine.

How do I care for my lash extensions?

For the first 24 hours after application, avoid contact with water and steam (sauna).Do not use oil-based products around the eye area.Avoid rubbing the eye area, sleeping face-down into a pillow, or roughly towel-drying your lashes.Use only mascaras designed for lash extensions – including on lower lashes.Gel eyeliners are not permitted.The most important part of lash care is cleansing. Dirt, sebum, dead skin cells, and makeup residue accumulate on lashes and must be removed daily with a lash cleansing foam. This extends the life of your extensions and prevents allergic reactions.You can purchase everything you need for lash aftercare at our salon, so your lashes stay beautiful and well-maintained for as long as possible.
